Do the Shadow Army monsters drop the same items as in the Fissure of Woe? i.e. Chaos Axe, Shadow weapons, obsidian shards, etc.

They do drop shadow weapons, check wiki.

Well Light bringers gaze does effect menzi's guys just not in FOW .. thought i'd put that in. Well for example when your in the one farming (for light bringer points there's menzi's homies there..but ya.. i wish i could use LBG at FOW and UW mabe..UW

They will drop Shadow items, including Chaos Axes, not shards though.

well I guess you are right, as there are a couple of inscribable axes.. i also guess they would drop from chests around shadow army in elona?

i was also wondering about magma shields recently :S. only place i know for sure those drop is the chest that sometimes spawns in foundry of failed creations :S

You can also get inscribable Fissure weapons from Obsidian Furnace Drakes on the 'Drakes on a Plain' quest.
